Lake City 9x18 Available

Post by nbender »

I don't know these folks but I found their advertisement. Lake City is good ammunition - goes over 1,000 fps; brass cased, reloadable. This is the first time I've ever seen Lake City ammunition commercially available.

Oops - Sorry Norm, this ammo is made by MFS and it's more than missleading that they chose to call it "Lake City". I should have made that clear when I posted about the stuff. Anyway, it's good ammo.

MFS was the first stuff I bought for mine. Very nice looking and shoots well. Hungarian, I think. The first stuff I got was berdan primed. I really hated to throw it away it was such good stuff.

MFS is Hungarian and the versions I've seen over the years have been Boxer primed.

918, you may be thinking about Mesko ammunition, made in Poland. They recently exported a brand called "Vollmantel" (Full jacket). That stuff was brass-cased and berdan primed.
