I purchased my first P-64 this weekend and when I got home and disassembled the entire gun for a through cleaning I noticed that the little tab on the top of the hammer strut was misssing.

I just want to know if this little piece will render the gun useless or if it will work fine and has this happend to anyone else.

Also does anyone know where I can get another hammer strut without purchasing a whole other gun????

Wow, that sucks. Do you have a picture of the offending strut and, does the gun dry fire w/o it? How much of the strut is broken off? You will most likely not be able to find one specifically for this gun but now may be a good time to see if a ppk, pa63 or similar could be made to work. Can you return the gun to the shop and get another one?

jbabbler, he ended up fixing it. He did TIG weld it and shaped it back to what it should have looked like.
