SMC 918 Arrival Inspection and Range Report

Received the gun on June 18th. First inspection revealed what appeared to be a low round count, pristine pistol. As soon as I checked the safety I realized that I had a problem - it wouldn't move. I got home, disassembled the gun and found a burr on the safety barrel. A few minutes with a jeweler's file and some graphite fixed it. I guess the Pawn Shop in CA thought he was unloading a damaged gun. It appears to be a fairly new gun. The sticker on the original box had a sale date of 1995. Whoever owned it previously sure didn't shoot it much. Finish is 90%, feed ramp, breech and internals are clean.
Took it to the range yesterday and it shoots great - I think I got the better end of a bum deal. I'll upload pictures if I ever figure out how to do it.
