He wanted me to make him one. I asked him what kind he wanted and he said he wanted it so that the barrel sticks out (less drag when drawing). So, that's what I did. When using an example on the internet, I end up having to trace around the top of the slide and around the trigger guard onto posterboard. From there I just eyeball the example and start making the outline of the holster around the gun's outline on the posterboard. Sometimes it's easy, other times it's time-consuming.
I used this picture as the example and my finished product is shown below it. I can't do the fancy moulding, but he doesn't care.
