Any record of your firearms is not good, seems like another
lose your guns scheme.

You may want a record of when you purchased several types of guns so that when they are banned (ie. SKS, AK) you can still keep em.

Norm,

I found this same program on another website an downloaded it. It appears like a nice program, but has anyone tested to see if any info can be transmitted from the program? I am a little "anal" about stuff like this. Any info from you other computer guys would be helpful.

I just ran a network trace against it. Ran the application for a few minutes going through most of the screens and it didn't generate any network traffic.

Should be safe...

Thanks for the information guys! I am always skeptical with "free" stuff and did not want to have any info transfered back somewhere. I have the program downloaded and hope to start inputing info soon. The one thing I have to be able to do is make sure the program with info can also be stored on my jump drive. I always keep a back-up copy. By the way, I found the information on the Browning 1919A4 Forum.

Yea, I think this is a good program. I guess on those cold weekends with nothing else to do, I will start transfering all my firearms data over.

Just a note, I have learned to never keep information like this only in one place. It would be a good idea to copy the data to a Memory Stick, dics, etc. just in case your computer "bombs out". I have not tried to see if the data can be transfered of if I will have to install the entire program to me back-up Memory Stick. Any of you computer "Gurus" know if the program data will transfer without much problem?

Norm,

Thanks for the information, I may just do this myself!

By the way, Ihad one of our computer "gutus" at work check out the program and he could not find anything wrong with it as far as transmitting info back somewhere. Now all I have to do is transfer all the info I have on my Excel Program.
