Will I bought my P-64 yesterday...hadnt got to fire it yet :( but I watched alot of you-tube videos. My concern is that when I pull the slide back simulating a reload...its does NOT go back and it sticks open unitl I pull the clip out and then it moves forward. That leads me to think that the clip is interfering with the slide somehow.....

any help would be great ;D

The slide locks back when the gun is empty if there is a clip in it. If you fire a clip til it is empty it will lock back. You can then pull the old clip, put a new clip, pull back on the slide and let it go forward and it will load the next round and be ready to go.

Working as intended.

It's a magazine, not a clip, and as kurremkarm said, it's designed to leave the slide open on after the last shot is fired. To bring the slide forward into battery, remove the empty mag and pull the slide rearward and ease forward.

Make sure you clean that pistol of yours really well before hitting the range!

I was looking at Gunbroker last night and recall seeing some offered for sale. You may have to play with the description to get the hit however. bib
