Last week I whined on line about how on my first trip to the range with a P64 how the trigger recoil spring snapped. I immediately ordered those that are availale at this site by Norm. I don't consider myself mechanically inclined but thought I'd give it a try. Spoke over the phone to Norm on the process, Thanks Norm! And wonder of wonders I was able to do it! No gunsmith, no waiting! Believe me, if I can do it anyone can.

Norm is a great person to have give assistance. His knowledge is way beyond my 50 years! When I need assistance, I will call him to help me out, or set me straight. Difficult as I worked on military small arms for so many years that the commercial weapons are a little bit more complex with many fine little parts.

I used to put a white sheet under the benches when we worked on some of our rifles, MGs and pistols in case we had a flyer. I followed Norms instruction and did the plastic bag trick when working on the P-64. Worked like a charm and no lost springs, pins or flying parts. Thanks Norm. ;) Sgt P.
