;DI qualified with my P-64 yesterday and can now carry it as Off-Duty/Backup weapon. The only mods I did to it was put a set of Dennis' wooden grips on it and reduced the stock mainspring with a Wolff 18lb. It grips beautifully and I didn't have any "bite" at all. The only glitches were a light strike which could have been from the hard Wolf primer or the spring.....pulled trigger again and it went off. I was very impressed with it's function and accuracy. The only round out of the coke bottle was from a single right hand double-action shot.
Any other LEO's out here carry these off-duty?

No doubt. I just ordered one and the rest of the officers and even my judge are looking into buying. Its cheaper that a PPK and the ammo is cheaper than .380. What's not to like. I'm Looking into changing springs soon. How about you?

I used mine as a backup until about a month ago when the safety broke. :'(

had it in a holster in my vest.

will carry again once I find a new part, good little get off me gun.

my co-workers make fun of me for all my commie guns (I carry a Saiga 12 on duty as well).

but then I end up seeing them shopping for them as well. :P
