CZ-82 Refinish?

I'm planning on refinishing one of my CZ-82s after the holidays. Any of our members out there with any tips or hints? Have any pics of your refinished pistol ?
With 56 listed parts, i know its the kind of project where i'd need to have a clean workbench to start with, and no other projects going on at the same time. Right now i'm leaning toward using Brownells Aluma-Hyde in Matte Blk. but am open to suggestions/other options. Any imput or advise is greatly appreciated.
Found 2 great websites to use as a guide:

Mods- Could you please move to 9x18 section? My mistake.

its a lot cheaper to use a ceramic header paint, here is a Argentine 45 I did about a year and half ago
if you bake it in your oven it will come out just fine, a can of ceramic header paint is about $8.00 at any auto parts store

Norms gun looks as good or better in person, since he started me on his method have used it many times. If your wife doesnt like using her oven try this method see reply #5 on a previous thread. for some parts also I havre used a garage sale toaster oven..

Thanks for the feedback fellas!
drifter- That makeshift oven of yours is downright ingenious. I bet it works great for baking out cosmo from the old milsurp stocks, and it also looks long enough to hold a barreled action for a spray on refinish. I may have to come up with a rig like that for my own use. Thanks for the great idea!

I hear ya Norm. I refinished one of my Romy Toks last spring using Dupli-Color High Temp engine paint. Belive it was around $8 bucks at the auto parts store, still have about 2/3 left in the can. Baked it at 300 for 2 hrs. While i had it down decided to try to make some custom grips for it using Claro walnut. Also turned some plugs to replace that ugly import required safety. I'm happy with the way it turned out, and the finish has held up very well the past several months.

when I did mine , all I did was take the grips , the slide , and the trigger housing off . put it in some liquid paint stripper , then buffed it with a 6 in steel wire wheel ,until I got all the paint off, then I cold blue mine .
paint stripper will take it off

NORM, thanks for the info, do you remember the gage of the wire brush or does it matter?
I plan on doing mine in Brownell's Oxpho Blue Cream Formula, it makes a really beautiful deep corn flower blue finish. I plan on doing six to eight coatings, the color seems to get deeper with each coat.
