Any of you fellows have information regarding the AMD-65 AK-47 rifle, I've been looking for an AK that I can afford and Centerfire Systems Inc. has them on sale for $399.99 plus shipping.
Any information would be appreciated!

gunneyrabbit, I like it, bought one from J&G. for much more money. Fast handling, light, folding stock doesn't look like much but is comfortable. I found one at my local shop, tried it was very surprized (I don't like AK's, but sure like this one) Depending on how you handle things, a 30 rd mag might be close tolerance with the front grip if you're in a hurry. But, thirty round mags no problem. But, I bought a bunch of 20 rd (8) , were a little hard to find, but seems like they're all over now.
But, find one, check it for fit, you'll see what I mean. Even, my friend who owns the shop, picked-up the one I was handling and was impressed. The look of the wire stock is deceptive, it's solid, and fit's your shoulder. You have positive control.
What I've been able to find out is. It was supposedly developed for troops in armoured outfits. It would be really short if they hadn't welded the muzzle break for import purposes. Mine has synthetic grips vice wood. All metal except the grips, lite, well made I LIKE IT.
