I read throught the parts list and assembly instructions - those were great. However, I'm stumped as to how to remove the safety. The assembly instructions only show how to to put it back together.

Does the safety come out similar to the Makarov - where you rotate the safety "up" beyond the "off" setting until it points up about 120 deg? I haven't tried that yet and didn't want to force it and damage something.

take a very small screwdriver, pull the firing pin toward the front of the gun until it is out of the way so you can pull the safety lever out.
