I ordered a set of Zee grips for my P64, and they arrived today...I had a strange request, asking for a Russian Red grip, wanting my little Zak to have more of a Makarov look to it. Very nice fit, feels just like factory grips, perfect alignment, no slop or slipping, just dead-on perfect. Could not be made any better, and if you want some plastic factory-style grips, Zee Grips is the place to go!

Whaddaya think? Not sure if it looks "girly". missed the mark completely, or if it looks good...it's not quite the color I pictured, but it's growing on me.

Looks real good. Those Russians like to paint everything red. I have a fair collection of Mosins and they put lotsa red dye (or possibly left over German blood) in their shellac.

Do you have a link for Zee? I did not know he was making grips again. ???

well actually, I spent time in Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, Greece, Spain, Netherlands, England, and Turkey... but not Checkoslovakia (as it was called in my day). My dad was AIr Force, and that area was off-limits! Lots of un-friendlies carrying weapons and not so many warm-and-fuzzy feelings for the USA...

But since they are my grips, and I paid for them:

I kind'a like the idea of shooting Commies with their own weapons. This group most likely has enough soviet block weapons to arm the old Warsaw pact nations, for good reason they're tough and they work. BTW those grips look sweet. I wonder if some could be made to mimic RED WATTLE???

Your plum Zee grips look great. How was the fit and finish? Very good contrast with the black-blueish finnish (no pun to my friends in Finland ) but hey I'm a mixed blood ( Polish / Lithuanian/Scottish/German ) so I can relate to all combloc weapons jokes! Hell yeah we do possobly have more arms as the former Soviet satelite countries are selling off their weapons to buy bread, cheese and wine. So much for the euro, right?
