Couldn't run the risk of these beauties running out, so I went ahead and ordered a non-hand-pick from J&G for my second P64. I politely asked for a round-hammer if at all possible, and that delayed the order for 2 days since they replied that Hand-pick was available, and by the time I explained I am a cheap SOB and just to send me one, two days had passed!

It arrived today, and it is a 1969 round hammer. The first was a 1970 round hammer. This one has just a little wear and small scratch on the right side, right at the muzzle, but everything else looks near perfect. No other holster wear, no scratches. Trigger pull seems lighter than the 1970 but a good bit. Have not fired her yet, but all indications are that the pickings are still good, and altho they dont offer it, they will still do a hand-pick for $10 at J&G. My Dick Funk IWB holster is being made, so I will match them up once it arrives. Here is some pure gun porn of the new arrival!

Nothing major, just not Mint like the last one! Of course, it was born in 1969, so how bad is a little scratch or rub on the nose?

It looks like that as of today, May 22, they are still available from j&G. I just hope they still have them in a couple of weeks when I can make another purchase.
