Howdy folks. A newbie checkin' in. I was just wondering. What's the earliest model year P-64 you've seen? Either owned or at a gun show. Thanks! ;D

Must be the newbie thing. In that case, what's the oldest model you've witnessed? Have you seen the '77s often?

Przz,
These were made from 64 to 77. Earliest I know of imported are 67's. As I recall, dickfunk, the mastermind behind this board, has one. Most sold seem to be 68 to 76.
All thread sections have many pages that you can scan, and all questions I know of have answers in these old posts.
Enjoy,
Stan

I have a 77. From the ones I have looked at they are all the same quality. At least visably.

My first P-64 I bought is a 1967 dated pistol in as-new condition, had 2 spare magazines, and only cost $150! I picked this date out because that is the year I graduated from High School. After I found this site and learned a little about the pistol, I found that it was one of the earlier pistols.

The last time I was at the gun show I think I saw a 64 I would have bought it but it had the wrong hammer on it and the finish on it was not to bad look like someone put this gun together from parts
