Hello,
New to forum. Lots of valuable info here. I'm wondering if most people order their springs directly from Wolff's website. I tried a couple other large parts catalogs-thought I'd order them with some other stuff I need to save on shipping, but doesn't look like you can get them anywhere else?
Thanks

Ordered mine. Received them before the pistol. Took about five working days, depends on how you ship. Just got done changing springs. WOW!!! What a difference!! Norm you da' man!! She's ready to rock. Just have to get used to her. I have oak woods, no one close, don't need a range for pistols. The benefits of being rural. Took about 10 mins to change out the spring, start to finish.

Thanks Norm and Rottenrick for testimonial! I thought for sure those springs were on Midway-but couldn't find em there, also checked Numrich and they didn't have. Kind of a bummer because I wanted to order a bunch of stuff together. Didn't check Brownell's. Anyway, I put my order in today. My Centerfire P64 is waiting for me to go and take delivery. She's a 73.'

I bought a 20lbs. recoil spring. A value pack of hammersprings that included an 18,19 and 20lb. hammersprings. It seemed prudent, after reading about the different results on different pistols and my own experience with aircraft systems, every machine is different to some degree, to have back-ups. I didn't get the 22lb. spring because I don't like to grind on things. It's too much like a square peg in a round hole type of feeling. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. The spring I removed could have been used for a shock strut for crying out loud. WHAT A DIFFERENCE the change made.
