I put 20 of these through a chrony a couple days ago, using a Bulgarian Makarov. I did a more complete posting at:

The ammunition is sold by AIM as "surplus". If it's older surplus military ammunition, it just may be corrosive. Somebody look into that will ya?

Copper-washed steel case, berdan primed, non-corrosive (I hope) primer;
Two pulled bullets weighed 93.1 and 92.5-gr;
Bullets are copper-coated steel-cased;
Cartridge case and bullet are magnetic.

Overall Length:
Range: 0.947 – 0.977
Avg: 0.972

Velocity (fps):
Range: 927 - 1050
Avg: 977
ES: 96
