DA Trig DOA - Somewhat resolved

New P 64...$165...1973...seemed like a good deal.
However, the DA trigger actually STOPS about 3/4 though the pull. I've dropped the hammer spring to an 18#, but the issue remains.
HELP!! There must be a mechanical issue in the hammer/trigger components.
On SA the trigger works fine.

Thanks to Norm for good suggestions. I disassembled the entire gun, cleaned it thoroughly, replaced both the return and slide springs and it is now working on DA. It is still very strong, but I think that is just the 64 talking.

it could be the trigger return spring, it controls the trigger bar , also did you clean the gun yet

Norm:
I soaked it overnight in "red" gun-cleaner and sprayed it down with brake cleaner...I've changed all the springs in my other 64 and did not have this issue with it at all.
Which one is the trigger return spring?
