By the way, Mrs. BD here and believe me, he won't be getting away with that "old fashioned pencil sharpener" story, either. :P

(I guess he didn't think I would read the other posts when he asked me to get the pictures online... ::))

papabear, all I do is steele myself and wade right in. I found it works better if spousal unit doesn't know about it though.

... which re-modeled frame has arrived to me safe and sound.
A happy gripmaker smiling here ;D

Now, I'm over two days of thinking, four hours of designing, two hours of machining, one hour of sanding and fitting and here is the result.

The pictures will talk instead of me.

I will send out this prototype to Blinddog the next day. Then he will see and tell us how they perform in action.

I want to thank all of you for helping me!

I think you just about got it , this is a scan one my P-64's with the of the hammer back , you might want to trim the grips a little where the bottom of the hammer goes when it comes back

Thank you Norm!

I overlaid my 3d drawing on your scan. I hope there is enough space for the hammer.

Thank you.

Thank you Norm. I fixed the cnc codes and a modified version is being machined at this moment. I will post some pictures when they're ready. I also changed the outer shape of the grips. It will be more rounded and not that thick like the previous BP version.

Both scans were good and worked fine after a gamma and color correction. More pictures = more precision.

Thank you again!

I'm back with the modified grips. I hope this cutout will be enough for the hammer.

I also added some checkering. I always wanted to test this fancy texture with bent checkering lines. The final version will have different texture.

Thank you,
