I just opened a package and there before my eyes were the 2 surplus skeleton holsters I had ordered, It was a good deal, 2 holsters for six dollars shipped. Here's a re listing of the auction (its a dutch auction) http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=89088016 (if anyone reads this after the auction closes just go to their other items for sale list and you'll find them.)

The are simply constructed but pretty tough, with the 2 I got the color is closer to the surplus makarov brown holsters than the black in the picture.

the fit is a-little tight (its un-issued leather) but with some streaching I believe it will draw fine

all in all I'm pleased (6 dollars/ 2 holsters= ;D)

and they look pretty cool as well.

Trent,

That's a darn good looking holster, and not even to mention a heckuva deal! Yours looks a lot better than what was pictured in the auction.

Is the strap pin an exposed metal stud on the inside (gun side)?

I was wondering if there was any metal to metal contact (holster to gun)

My P-64's are kept very clean and I worry about scratching them.

Thanks

fritz, it is exposed and appears to barely touch the slide (the slide slopes down where it is)

oh and I wore it out to eat just a few minutes ago, I wore it over my front right pocket and had the bottom of my hooded sweatshirt (hoodie) covering it and it seemed to disappear.

Trent,
Three holsters for $9.00, what a deal! I saw some familiar names at the auction site, you have done us all a huge favor, thanks for the posting.
Did they say what hand gun the holsters were designed for, looks like it might fit a any of the Walther PP clones that were so popular in many of the Soviet Block country's.

I got even a better deal on mine, a really good friend gave me one. I've had it about a month, I use mine a little different, I attached it to the bottom of my computer/office desk top and keep one of my P-64's in it, makes a great hideout gun holster.......... ;D

Never done Gunbroker before...

I just bid on 2 holsters, do I wait for an e-mail from the seller
first, or just pay with paypal?

Duh, I bid on the Tokarev holsters instead of Makarov holsters from the same seller by mistake, didn't take long to screw that one up!

I'd try giving them a call and see if they can change your order, I believe this is their website http://www.suzyssurplus.com/
