Wow, would really like the P-64 slide holster and magazine carrier! I am angry AGAIN at my mom for not teaching me Polish!

I just remembered that I have a book on Polish weapons; the only problem is it is in Polish and I CAN"T read it! The name of the book is "Polskie konstrukcje broni strzeleckiej" written by Zbigniew Gwozdz and Piotr Zarzyckiin 1993. It is a nice book that describes all the weapons from Poland. There is a good section on the P-64, but guess what, there are MORE pistols of this size in 9mm Mak. There is the P-70, P-75, P-78A and the P-83. Most are a little larger that the P-64, but not a lot. Now if we can get these imported we could have a nice collection of Polish pistols.

I don't understand the import regulations of the US. They state that Military weapons can't be imported, but we are getting all type military weapons on the market like the P-64. I wish we could get more of these weapons when they are phased out of service.

Is this normal price for the set in USA? If yes sedning packages from Poland directly to buyers in USA maybe be economicaly plausible...

Yes this is very nice book( I know one of the authors he is one of the best specialist in polish weapon ). But unfortunately there are only guns made before 1993.

Unfortunately pistols P-70, P-75... there were just prototypes. But in my opinion they was great. One of it has alloy frame and second has POLYMER ! frame ( a few years before glock!!!) and the mag capacity was 14

P-83 and P-93 you can buy in the US without a problem I think.

AFAIK p-83 isn't imported into USA anymore, but I would be very glad to be proven wrong... Every gun sent abroad, esspecialy to USA, is a one gun less landing in a melting pot...

The price on Gunbroker is more than I paid for mine. I got mine from a Polish gentleman for $25 plus $8 shipping. It arrive in less than 2 weeks and was new! It appears that the dealers in Poland know we are wanting the holster with spare magazine and cleaning rod. Actually, the holster rig is not a bad deal since the magazine is selling for $10-20 when you can find them. I have not seen any of the cleaning rods except with the holster

Thanks for the update on the other pistols; they are really nice looking and would be nice to own. Yes, I hope they keep importing the weapons into the US, as I hate to see then destroyed. To me, when the destroy a weapon that is legal to own in the US, they are destroying history.

I am also pleased to have your posts here. We are lucky to have you. I am also Polish. My grandparents came from Medrzechow, but left there about 1900 to come to the U.S.. I believe it is near Krakow? Do you know of it?
I'm a retired Air Force pilot, so I feel a "brotherly connection", since you are also a military officer.

Does anyone know whare I can find the cleaning rod? I have the original holster, but t did not come with a rod or clip. I was lucky at the recent Houston gunshow and found 6 clips for $11 each.

Got my holster, cleaning rod, and spare clip yesterday. I did a "buy it now" on GunBroker. The prices are going up. All parts appear to be unissued. The holster is brown, no electric pencil on the clip. I'm glad I reviewed other posts. I might have missed the little sleeve inside that holds the cleaning rod. Not as sharp as I used to be, just getting old.
