Great. Maybe I'll order one (or a few). Now for the important question. I see one marked $89 and others are more. The only difference I see is the slide markings. Any reason I shouldn't go for the cheapest?

Watch the finish. The PA-63's have an aluminium alloy frame without any finish, and a blued steel slide. Some of the other variants have a black/blue anodized frame and a steel slide. The finish wear on the anodized frames on the ones I have seen show a lot of scratches and wear. The slides wear fine if taken care of, but the frames on the anodized/painted ones don't.

Just my thoughts. I am picky about the finish and general condition of my guns.

This is also a .32, not much stopping power. Don't get me wrong, I have a couple of .32's, but I don't carry anything less than a .380

The price is right, just be sure of what you are getting.

:)

for that price I am tempted. the only reason I most likely wont is it is too much like the PA63 . which is good ,I really like the 63 , but and the big but is it is in a different caliber. I have a few 32s and enjoy them but I dont like to have any guns that , or ammo ,that can be confused ie mak and 380 and pa63 with the 32 version.. never said was I was sharpest knife in spoon drawer I like to keep thing easy for me.Just a dumb old city boy.

Well I (or I should say, we) did it. I got 4 other people in the office and we placed an order for 5 at the same time to get a slight break on the shipping charge.

doyle,

Thanks for the FYI on the FEG AP 7.65, for $89, I just might have to look into this one, I don't have a .32acp in my arsenal, I'm trying to catch up with "anjdrifter", and boy is it hard....... ;D.

Papabear, the company (Centerfire) is somewhere up near you in KY. I wonder if you could just stroll in and take your pick of the litter.

I've had one for about 2 weeks now-They definitely look post issue.Mine has a lot of blueing wear on the frame.Fritzhund is right on the money with his description. The bore on mine looks good, little slop on the slide, but shoots good!I would have to say for $89.00 a pretty good buy since these are drying up,and since I paid $129.00 for mine from Centerfire, grab em' whil'st they got em'!! ;D

this an AP-9 that was anodized when I bought it , there were several places on it that the anodizing was worn off so I took a fine wire wheel and buff it off, if you can see in the middle of the frame it still has some on it
