Drum magazine

A friend gave me this 40 round drum magazine for a 1911 pistol. The drum part is made of polymer and the upper is steel. It is basically a novelty but a cool item to have. I'm pretty sure it would print through my clothes if I tried to carry it.

Any idea how much the combination weighs, fully loaded drum magazine and pistol ?

i bet it fits well in a glove compartment...
