Beautiful Norm...I was actually signing on to ask if you received them as yet?? Nothing on my Star grips yet so Iwait a little longer still and be patient.

I requested the grips without any finish on them , your's are still drying (LOL)

I found some 1911 40 cal 8 RD S/S FLAT 18.63 apiece at http://www.brownells.com/

Grips showed up today! Nice, good quality, perfect fit...but I'm not sure...I'll have to dig out the camera and let you all decide later. ???

What do you think?

Great looking grips you got from "Grip Guys", thanks for sharing. I have one set on my Star BM that a really good friend gave me, I really like em. I just ordered yesterday a set for my Tactical RIA [Bocote] for the ambidextrous safety and beveled bottom.

Carguy,

I really don't think you could have picked a better set of grips. i mean it. The color and grain structure if just PERFECT for the stainless (or is it nickel) Star. Jealous....green and jealous! What a great size for carry, too. Not too small, but not too big....just a true midsize. Congrats.
