I got them from Dennis and they are Padauk on the BR-61 and on the PA-63 they are Zebrawood

better than both its a lot heaver than the PA-63 and wider than the P-64

Norm, I haven't fired my chromed P-64 yet, but I'm curious if the thickness of the plating has any effect on reliability. Have you noticed any?

hard chrome plating is not as thick as nickel plating
