Hey Everyone ! Can anyone tell me what this bayonet went to? I just aquired a nice collection of Knives , and this Bayonet was in there. I have two large boxes of knives to go thru. I have 6 matched sets of custom handmade collector knives from a board display and perhaps a hundred other knives. Man this aquiring game is getting big! Thanks Guys. Garry

I don't know what that goes to other than saying it appears to want to be stuck on the end of a rifle barrel...
But I'd love to see some pictures of your "accumulation"!

Awesome Norm ! Thanks Man ! Your's is in much nicer condition than this one. someone sharpened an area on the middle of the blade length and it looks like the "point" has been stuck into sand and gravel alot . it is still "serviceable" . It only had a few specks of rust about the size of a small nail head but was pitted from years past. Thanks for Your fast response !
Carguy~ You called that one right !!! hehehe
I finally had the chance to inspect a Mosin -Nagant 91/30, the "Long One"teehee, and a Lee Enfield rifle for the first time a couple of days ago and I'd like to add one to my bayonet collection !! lol
I have two rounds of .303 british Ammo and a Bayonet, so now it is obvious that I have to get the rifle so i will have somewhere to put this bayonet and ammo. I think this will work.
My wife will HAVE to see the logic in this. It only makes good sense.
That Lee Enfield felt like a 2"x4" compared to the Mosin Nagant 91/30 that was next to it. The M-N had long ,sleek lines and was nicely finished . The L-E had barely any finish on the wood.
The L-E is a very "busy" rifle compared to the M-N 91/30 and it's "more simple" design. I will try to get both , and play with them and decide,I guess. sounds good in theory at least.
The Knives are really neat. here are some of the collector Knives from the Missouri Sho Me Cutlery Club. They are in sets. The serial #'s aren't in sequence tho, and includes one with the serial # 001. These 12 knives are high quality pairs ,custom made in limited Quantities of 200 and 150 from the makers Shrade, Case, Queen, and Col. Coon Knives in Tennesee. They are from the years 1979 up to 1983. I am well pleased . I'll add pics from the other couple boxes later today . Enjoy , G

They are Bone handle and Stag from some other country. They are some really heavy-duty knives. escpecially the Case XX, and the Shrade. The Col. Coon Knives are made by a guy named Adrian Harris (whom I've met) and his knives are heavy-duty and very well polished ! My folks used to be heavily involved in the "Sho-Me" cutlery club. I went with Dad on many trips watching them buy, sell, and trade some great knives. I have a small collection of my own knives before I got these, so know I have about 100+-. I will try to get more pics going here in a bit so Enjoy ! G

Gary,
Looking at your knives is like going to the Smokey Mt. Knife Works. I bet the owner Kevin Pipes would pay a good bit for those.

Papabear~ Thank You so much !
Grayfox~ Yes, several of these came from SMKW ! Are you near them? I would LOVE to take a Trip thru their Factory. I also have several Cattaraugus Knives (including an original display case and Product catalog from the 30's-40's era.) and I have a Cattaraugus 225Q fighting knife from ww2. I drove in front of the UTICA Knife Works factory in Utica,NY and will try to go on a factory tour when I return there in May. I will take my Utica knives when I go there to show them.
As for selling~ If something catches your eye, ask about it. Some of them I will sell .
