Tried a new pistol, Taurus PT 24/7 in 45 acp, and I have to say that I love it. I love the capacity at 12+1 and it shoots really nice. The only thing is that she hates wolf ammo. When I first brought her out I put 100 rounds of tha through and they jammed in the mag. So vowed to stick to brass cased.

I took it out last week with the p-64 and the p-64 is more accurate that guns hurts like a bitch compared to the taurus. I only went through 50rnds of wolf and it hurt my hand. went through 150 on the Taurus and it was very nice. (s&b, remington, buthornady xtp shot the best) next time i'm trying hydra shok and winchester. I like my p-64 but the Taurus is my new favorite...

Congratulation on your new PT 24/7 .45. They are nice pistols, I opted for the Millennium Pro PT145, with 10+1 DAO, 23oz empty and a joy to shoot, second shot recovery is excellent, the 11 degree angle of the grip makes recoil very slight and its not picky about what you feed it, it fits my hand like a glove too. NIB they are going for $300 OTD at my dealer. My hats off to the Springfield XD they are fine pistols too, I got to shoot both the XD 4"bbl service model and the 5"bbl tactical and the Taurus PT 24/7 4" bbl and Taurus PT145 with a 3.27" bbl and for carry and over all use I chose the Taurus PT145.

I own two XD's. A sub-compact 9mm and a full size .40 cal. I love to shoot them both. I have around 5k rounds through the 9mm and about 3k through the .40 and I have yet to see a problem with feeding or anything. They are very impressive guns. The only folks that have an issue with them are the Glock diehards. I think the XD scares them.
