PA-63 slide stop spring

Okay - I bought a .32 FEG PA-63 from Centerfire Systems (a bit scratched up, but otherwise seems fine). In degreasing it yesterday evening, the slide stop came off the frame, and the little spring came out of the slide stop. Restating the well-known, the spring is v'shaped with one straight side and one side with a c-chaped curve at the end.

HOW THE HECK DOES THE DANG THING GO BACK IN THE SLIDE STOP??? The picture in the exploded view of the PA-63 is not very helpful. Is it c-shaped side down, or c-shaped side up? And does the spring have to get fit through the constricted part in the groove on top of the slide stop? The thing seems precariously enough attached that it must fall out on a regular basis.

Many thanks.

Thank you! This may not be the busiest board on the net, but it has my vote for "most darned useful."
