I got my p-64 ;D and immediately replaced the hammer and recoil springs , but the recoil is still punishing . However, hammer/slide bite is not an issue for me because the web of my hand is not meaty , thus the pain :-/

so here is my quick cheap fix.
1) get some foam tape with good 3m adhesive on one side.
1a)if all you can find if the double sided squares, that will work too.
2) cut a 1" by 1.5" strip from the roll or 1 square.
3) stick it to your grip where the web of your hand goes.
3a) If you have the double sided stuff, expose the adhesive on the remaining side and apply a piece of tissue paper to it (yeah, the kind you blow you nose on)
4) Use a sharpie to match the color to the grips.

Thats it. low profile, color matched and EASY.
