Hey Al,
Did your wife help you getting on and off that darn thing. I know you well enough to know that if you could that would be sitting in your front yard, but I also know that the little woman wouldn't allow it...... ;D....you look like your trying to shift gears, you better stick to your golf cart.........

Photo's can be deceiving, she made me take the key out of ignition before she would get on it, I just as her to set there with the dog but no, take the key out..........

My wife wants nothing to do with firearms. Sometimes she sits with me when I'm cleaning whatever I took to the range that day. But that is about the extent of her interest. The females of my family have little or no interest...my son is quite the opposite and we enjoy the shared iinterest immensely. He is about to turn 21 (next month) and will be re-applying to turn his FID card into an LTC.

I knew the mowing of the yard by a wife was too good to be true!!!
Carguy, my wife is about the same way. I think I have he talked into taking the class for CCW. I hope she isn't just humoring me.
I have two sons with another due on Oct. 19. One's 5 and the other 3. Each have a couple of guns already!! I know I probably "jumped the gun" a bit on that but...
A) guns are not getting cheaper. By the time they are actually old enough to use them I will need to take a loan out to buy them!
B) They make a great excuse to purchase guns!! My wife really can't get too mad about the purchases when they are meant for the children. They really are intended for them, really!!!
You should see they're eyes light up when I talk of the adventures in hunting we will have!!! I can not wait to give them the guns and go hunting with them. It will be a very good day!!! The only part that's a little bad is when we go to the zoo and my little one boasts out-loud about how he would like to shoot the critter he's looking at!! Don't worry all, they are being trained to respect the gun and gun saftey is very very important.

My wife was a gunaphobic when we married. Now she owns 3 that she has stashed in separate places in the house so that she can get to them quickly. When I first got my CHL and started carrying she was kind of skeptical about it, but lately she has asked if I am carrying when we are out and about - and admits that she is more comfortable when I am.
Maybe some day she will be willing to carry, maybe not. I guess it just isn't for everyone.
