grayfox,

Nice photo, someday my wife and I want to go up there with you guys, you make it sound so appealing and peaceful and maybe anjdrifter and his wife could also come. You and I are both blessed to have such wonderful and understanding wifes, as is anjdrifter, he sent me a pic him and his wife, trust me, he is blessed to have his wife too, and she is very understanding also.

Maybe we could get a sticky started that shows photo's who we are so when we are reading a post from someone we will know what they look like, it seems to me we get a better understanding of who is making the post if we can see them in our mind at least. I feel that if you know what someone looks like you get a better understanding of them and when you have actually met them and talked to them the understanding is even better. Just a thought, I know other boards have done this in the past, anyway, thanks for showing us the photo of you and your wife.

Here is me with mine at a St. Louis ball game, I use to live in that area for about 30 years then retired and moved back home here in KY

Grayfox: What did you marry her when SHE WAS 12!! 8~)
Good for you, stay healthy and I'm sure you'll see many
more happy years together.

Papabear: Now I feel bad that my Red Sox kicked the crap out of
the Cards in the 04 World Series...wait a minute...NAH!!

Danicrow: Cut the crap, if anyone knows smoking is the #1 cause
Heart disease it's you and that Lung Cancer is the #1
type of cancer in America it's you...stop smoking. I
know it is easier said that done, my wife is a smoker,
but theres lots more to live for, things to play with and
most important people to meet!!

Finally I think a photo sticky is a great idea (now I need a skinny picture) and we need to make a date, a day and time we can meet in the Chat Room. I know we are everywhere geographically so pick a good time tonight or tomorrow evening. Late (east coast time) is easier on Saturday because of work on Monday. Let me know what y'all (is that how you spell that) think!

Danicrow, Ask the doctor about Chantix or look at it Chantix.com. It's working for me. I smoked for 30 years, quit 5 years ago and now I'm addicted to snuff. the doc put me on Chantix. I've cut my habit by 2/3 and haven't taken any lives or even been cranky. In fact, I haven't had a dip in 18 hrs. Later Don

Great Pics guys ! I already had a preconceived idea of what several of y'all(correct spelling? close enough) look like , i must admit that i was extremely close on some ! Wisdom has it's own look to it !
I still have yet to figure out how to post pics here . Help will be great, thanks ! there have been a few times that i wanted to post pics.
Hey Papabear, I always liked the Cards better than my hometown Royals or, as i call them, the Arroyos.
the 4 most often used words in KC are: F'n Chiefs, F'n Royals. aheem , sorry folks .
i am kind of afraid to post a pic of myself as it might cause monitor meltdown and ruin your pc.
you could always print a copy and put it in the basement to keep the varmints out !
Anyways... I hope to see you guys on the chat room soon ! I am going out to teach my grandkids how to fish today ! it is supposed to get up to 80degs. today and sun is shining ! woot woot ! I haven't been fishing in 14 yrs. I used to catch bass faster than lightning, today however, i will be "Bait Man" ! G

DON'T BE FRIGHTENED! And you wonder why the Massachusetts firearms laws are so strict, they actually issued this guy a license to carry concealed!!

I told you I don't know what my wife sees in me! I think she thought I was rich...but the joke was on her!

I'm going to speak with Norm Sutton on the phone tonight for a bit and am planning on being in the Chat Room around 10, east coast time zone, if anyone has the inclination to "chat".

I just realized the chat room isn't going to work for me right now as it says I need an updated version of Java and I play off of a "company" laptop at my home office. I cannot add, delete or update any programs. The last time I tried that I killed my company email and it took days for me to fix. So I'll have to play like this...sorry, I was looking forward to trying.

carguy,

Gotta give you that one, your Red Sox did kicked the crap out of the Cards in 04 in four straight, however, they [Cards] came back last year and took the World Series home with them, even though they were the first team to win the Series with only 83 regular seasons wins, but hey, a recored is a record, so I can live it.

Thanks for the pic and now we know, by the way I agree with grayfox, you belong here........ ;D

grayfox,

Ok, I admit it, I robbed the cradle, but really, I am 63 and she is 61, we dated in high school, and 39 years later we found each other on Classmate.com, my wife had died in 1988 [age 44] from a heart attack and she divorced her husband of 30 years, soooo, now you know the rest of the story...... ;D

Papabear,
Don't forget the Red Sox "Impossible Dream" year of 1967, they are celebrating it regularly with the players coming back to Fenway etc. as this is the 40th anniversary. Didn't the Cards beat the Sox in 7 that year? We need to make it the best 2 out of 3 and settle this once and for all.

Carguy 8~)

bait? we used the grandkids, of course ! Their stomping and screaming clearly scared every fish around for a hundred yards !
they learned how to stalk fish ! heehee
We had fun and they learned alot so it was a really good day!!! (for carrying tackle and coolers up and down hills with kids yapping !) They are sure active in my old age . lol

I can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon. My kids are 20 and 24 so no grandchildren yet, shoot no one's even married yet! My 24 year old daughter is more independent and close to moving out and being on her own (only 1 year out of college) but my son is a home body. He and his dad do everything together! He loves to shoot and is catching the bug early. Now if he would just get a real job he could buy his own toys and stop playing with mine!
