Ok, I just threw down the snow shovel and bought a ticket to Florida. Told the wife not to wait up.

I am the lone wolf from Minnesota... yes, we have snow and cold too... There are no thongs. There are plenty of parkas and mukluks. As a matter of fact, my outdoor atmosphere is completely void of skin!!

They say the fishings pretty good with a full moon!!

Pardon me for saying so but if I was fishing under that full moon, have me admitted to the looney bin!!!!!

I have to admit to you all that I like the cold though. There's nothing like getting out of the hot tub and having your feet stick to the patio!!! It's so refreshing!!! If my hair doesn't freeze on the walk back to the house, it's not cold enough yet!!

last week we had a full day of rain, then got down to 30° for a few nights, now it's working it's way to the 90s by the end of the week. It's California weather, wait an hour and it'll change!

Now the weather hasn't been that cold or that much snow hasn't fallen yet...I'm afraid to see what we are thinking about with a little cabin fever kicking in sometime in February!!

Grayfox...now that is a thong I don't mind seing... :-/

When clearwater & other beachs banned thongs, they all came to Indian Rocks Beach, God I loved my job. :-*

I lifeguarded a lot during the summers of my late teens into early 20's.

It was so funny:

All of the new young and inexperienced lifeguards used to always want to be in the chairs on the deep end of the pool.....near the diving boards and slide. You know, macho young pups wanting to be where the actual drowing action may occur.

me and my older buddies always tried to skip rotation so we could guard the big "baby pool" as often as we could......

that's funny, down in Georgia, we usually say. "If you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes" it's neat to see similarities between states
