Just picked up my PA-63 today, all ser #s match including the magazine. Also got some Russian B-West milsurp ammo from the same store. Going to take it out and shoot it tomorrow. Can you tell the year it was made by the ser #? If so, L 0601xx

also as far as cleaning, I've heard that WD40 will eat away the primer seal on milsurp ammo, which I have some. Is it necessary to blow the gun off with WD40 after soaking in paint thinner?
Never mind, the ammo in question is neither milsurp or suitable for this gun; it's 100gr.
That said, is the WD40 used to remove the residue from the paint thinner?

Nice looking PA-63
you can get a manual at

anything over a 95 grn factory bullet will jam in the mag of a PA-63
and yes on WD 40 don't spray on bullet's it will sep in to the primers
oil and primers don't mix
WOLFF has hammer & recoil springs for the PA-63

then log off and reboot your computer then

Since WD40 is bad for the primers, should it be used on the gun at all? Especially the mag?

you don't need the gun or the mag to be dripping wet, after you spay the gun and mag ,wipe the gun clean then put a very thin coat of oil on it with a rage or gun cloth and you will be all set
its not good to put any type of oil on ammo
