WOW O WOW!
I'm glad I started this one!
The nice thing is that it looks like J&G for the most part has some P-64's in the "Un-Issued" condition that we have been used to, the bad part is the example southbendin wound up with.
I would have raised hell about it. That for sure was the product of someone's bad day. I'm sure some look like that, and I would imagine that was why TGI had so many parts for sale at one time. The junk got stripped for spares, and the ones in good shape were sold. Just my opinion, but wow weeee! That piece looked like total junk.
I am thinking about ordering another one and J&G is the only place left for "new" ones.
Thanks for the input guys!

my two 1976 guns one has a round hammer, the other has a sharp hammer spur.
one was unfired, the other looked like it just came back from 50 rounds at the range.
q tips came out black for a half hour. finish was VERY nice on both. I am happy, they were just ordered
site unseen no special picking.

Picked up my p64 from the dealer today. It is a 1976 model with the triangle hammer. I did not request a specific year. I got 1 mag serial # to the gun + 1 extra mag not matching. The condition appears to be brand new never fired. +1 for J+G!!!
