Nbender~ That Wolf Ammo box has the lot# under the end flap and it has an "04" out by itself. (maybe year of manufacture?)
My friend got it from a friend whom used to have a 9x18 pistol. I assume it is older after looking at these posts. The $5.95 price seems to represent days gone by.
What I had was the gray case but the bullet looked more like your 109gr. with the noticeable edge by the case mouth. The bullet did look like the 100gr. that you have pictured in the top pic. I think you mentioned that they finished off a run of 109gr. labeled as 100gr. or visa versa. Perhaps it could be those. I have no way of telling for sure since i blasted them all up and left the cases where they landed. Sorry. Mostly tho, It was a grey case with a bullet like that 109gr. Thanks and good luck, G

I just recently bought five boxes of 16 rds each of bimetal 100 gr. I guess I'll only use them on the range and not in a ccw situation.

I shot a box of wolf today called Military Classic 95 gr it seemed great, The problem I had today has to do with new magazines I used for the first time. First they don't slide in smoothly is this normal do they Break in and eventually slide in as nice as the old one I have? the next one is the top of the magazines seem sharp and they cut my thumb pretty good. Does anyone know of these issues? I wonder if It would be wise to sand it down a bit.

Hey michaelap,
I'm new around here and a novice when it comes to pistols. However I can tell you that I lightly sanded the top edges of my stock magazine inside and out. I used some #400 paper with WD-40. Although the mag is still a little rough to load, it did help. More importantly, the inside edges were gouging my shells and I feared it would cause feeding problems. Seemed to be effective as I fired 100 rounds yesterday with no flaws, no gouges and only a slightly sore thumb!

However, I have no experience with new mags so you should probably wait until one of the more knowledgable gents on this board chimes in.

Somewhere on this board there is talk of a "Mantis" auto mag loader. That's what I'm talkin' "bout. David

Yeah, by just taking the rough edges off I noticed the shells sliding into the mag easier. Hope it works for you.

WOW the mantis comes in a "manly" black now! I'm almost embarrased to pull mine out at the range because it usually clears the line...people think someone turned on the warning lights...it is florescent orange :'(

But it works like a dream :-*
