OKAY boys, just stop. No more discussion, no more accusations, no more defending oneself, no more silly pictures.
If this is the last word then let it be the last word...and I got it, enough already.
We all love this forum for what it is, a bunch of people with a similar interest that enjoy sharing their experiences and knowledge about that similar interest (firearms in general and the P-64 in particular).
Keep us together, everyone has misunderstandings, and everyone says something they think will be funny that isn't always interpreted the way it was meant. I don't know the entire story nor do I want to but let's all be forum buddies, please. No one here wants any of us to have hard feelings and actually avoid the forum because of a misunderstanding. This isn't life or death, this isn't our livelihood, this is supposed to be fun.
I appreciate Nbender's stats, I didn't understand them all but I respect all the hard work he put into them. But that doesn't mean everybody does and thats okay. And I respect bzinggg's attempt at humor, I did say attempt but not everybody has similar taste and that's okay. We are all adults now kiss and make up, see now that was FUNNY!
Sorry if it didn't work, but you can't fault me for trying.
I love all you guys on this forum, I won't be offended if you tell me to mind my own businesss, like I said, I don't know the whole story, just trying to lighten things up and hopefully help the cause.

Well, that is a good thing! But I have tried to stop this interchange between myself and nbenter three times previously in a very civil manner. About a week or so went by and I thought things were ok, then he comes on with a post today calling me a stalker trying to influence others against me. Very bad behavior when he could and should have forgotten the thing already. He wanted to start up again, and he always has to have the last word. I, on the other hand, asked him outright to forget it so we could move on. He has proven himself too immature to take this route, and he will come back again momentarily with some further hateful remark.
The only thing I am doing today is defending myself against his unjustified accusations, and I'm not going to be too keen on being told by someone who is not familiar with the previous posts not to defend myself. There is nothing wrong with defending yourself.
Carguy, Thanks for that ! i Love being on here and i am still kinda new to all this fun. I hope no one ever takes me too seriously(my wife does that and it bugs me, and then she gets upset, and that makes me irritated that she didn't get the whole joke of it ) and all i meant was for folks to get a chuckle , even if it takes making a fool of myself. I can get off color sometimes and not realize that i did it. If i do so, all you have to do is say so,and Please Do ! . Those Stats are great if you were like me and initially had very little to study about this gun. Carguy, You make a fine mediator and , made a lot of sense ,man ! I am putting together my handload info as i get it and will try to post it at a later date , als, i am always trying new loads and new brands wherever i can get them.
Does anyone know what i would need to go thru to "mail/ship" a dozen or so bullets to some individual ? i need to know what method to use for sending a friend some of my handloads. Any Suggestions/knowlege will be great guys ! Thanks all ! G
You are correct. I would never tell anyone not to defend themself, I just wanted to push you both to do exactly as you were expiounding, put an end to it. And I tried to do it in a comical way obviously it didn't work. All I succeeded in doing was offending you, I do apologize. Now as you said to Nbender previously, I'm done with this.
shipping ammo is fairly easy...you can ship it UPS or FedEx. It has to be properly packaged per the carriers specs (basicly, just not loose in the box) and the box must not have any labels on it that indicate its contents. You MUST tell the either the clerk or the driver picking up the package that it is ammunition. You can go to either website and do a search for "dangerous goods" or "ammunition" for the regulations.
also, you are still subject to state and local laws of both locations pertaining to ammunition and the shipping thereof.
In my neighborhood, I use UPS. I don't have experience with FedEx.
With UPS you have to go to a Hub, not their local dealer on the corner. Show up with the ammo in a box, declare that it's "Small Arms Ammunition", and they will label the package ORM-D and send it on its way without blinking an eye.
As barnett said, you're subject to the laws of where it's sent. Some states don't allow you to send ammo to their local. That can be problematic!
OK guys, I am out of town and I called my wife to post this for me. This is for general information, and I would like to ask nicely that we should never make any personal attacks on the Forum! In the future, if I see any personal attacks, I will delete the threads the first time, e-mail the party the second, and the third time, more drastic measures. I hope everyone understands my position, as we mostly get along great here.
We are, or seem to be, all good friends here and we should stay that way. Will we have disagreements, yes, but we can act like gentlemen.
I have had personal attacks on another Forum a couple of years ago and it was bad! So bad, I stopped collecting Lugers for a while. I still pick up a few now and then, but I only go to that Forum once in a while. I don't want anyone here to go thru that. There have been some very good Forums that got into "squabbles" in the past, and it ruined a place to go for information. Lets keep this Forum a First Class place to come and enjoy ourselves, learn a little about the P-64, and pass along information. Thanks guys!!!!
