Space - if you were asking the cost of the P-64 grips from Marschal, they were $47 shipped. Which I should have him asked about, because he only charged me $35 for a more complicated set of grips for the Makarov. Price included shipping.

You guys are way too sensitive and take things way too serious...You know this isn't a dress rehearsal. It's the real thing.

I just received my Marschal grips today. They were everything ya'll said they were. Fit, finish, even an inset nut with screw. Very pleased. My wife was very interested in a package from Budapest. You think that she will believe that Valentine candy from Walmart was special ordered from Hungary? I'll post pictures when I remember how. Later Don

Not to stir the pot--but thanks for taking up for Christian, guys... I'm biased, but I think he does a pretty good job for a young guy working in a garage with economy-class tools...

himmel,

I don't have any of Chris grips, but the pic's of those that he has made for those on this board tells the whole story, they are very nice and good looking grips, and you sir have been nothing but a gentleman on this board and I truly respect you for that, you are a asset to this forum.

Best Regards,

Papabear

I second what papabear said. I've had my Chris grips for a long time now and they're still holding up well. I don't know how many people I've showed them to at gunshows and always got rave reveiws. Here's a picture of my most recent purchase,

All Right,,,,Here is the truth....I ordered a set of HIMMEL'S SON grips made from black walnut. A kid making grips hell I carve myself. I received the grips took them to the range and the third shot blew out the back strap, and the webbing of my hand between thumb and palm. I dug pieces of walnut out of my hand and put on a set of ZEE GRIPS and continued shooting. Chris took the back and put a rosewood back strap on the same side panels. After installing them my slide would not move to the rear. I tried to alter the back strap. to allow the slide to go back, but no go . Two friends at work just ordered two p-64s from sog; Both came with cracked thumb shelf grips. I gave one guy a set of ZEE GRIPS, but both tried Chris's grip and they would not work on either pair of czaks.... Silly maybe??? Two tries on three different p-64s....Come on guys???

The Truth... It sure is a S.O.B. As a child you got punished for not telling it and as an adult you get punished for telling it...Even though they say 'everyone's Truth is there own'....Hell that can't be true. Black is black and green isn't red... unless you are colorblind!

Correct me if I'm wrong , but is'nt this exactly the sorta thing that resulted in the Zee Grips going out of production???????? :'(

I understand what you are saying. If I had ordered the grips and had that experience I would have contacted Chris and would have expected him to repair them, replace them or do something to satisfy me. Even a very experienced craftsman can turn out a faulty product for a number of reasons relating to the wood, adhesive, lack of experience with fitting a particular model, etc. Although I respect your opinion I thought that your comments about Chris' grips were inappropriate. Just my opinion. Thanks.
