Yes, I skipped over the 19# one. Better safe than sorry I guess. Once my state (WI) finally passes a Concealed Carry law I am considering this piece and better a harder DA and a BANG than a better DA with no bang.
Well I shot 50 FMJ's without issue. They all went bang and MAN is is this baby accurate at 10 meters. But, of course, on the last bullet the slide did not stay open and I believe the mag had come unseated. Is that also due to the spring or can it have other causes??

Was the ammo American or Russian for the light strikes?

Yes, the mainspring is responsible for the tension of the mag catch. If the catch lets the mag slip down, the follower won't have enough upward pressure to activate the slidestop lever. If the 20# is giving you this problem, I'd look at the ammo first. What are you shooting?

PPU FMJ ammo from Cabella's. Seemed like decent stuff and wasn't exactly cheap at $17.

heads up/hijack
just got the springs from wolff in the mail this morning. Hammer spring went in without trouble, noticed that the safety seems to move a little more easily after this as well, which is quite welcome. Recoil spring will have to be sanded down at the ends a little as I have the same problem I read about in other threads, slide doesn't want to go on right now.
