Hey JT,
Have you ever noticed the stampings inside the slide? I was just taking a slide out of the blue tank and saw them. They look like factory casting marks. Too hot to handle right now i got to let it cool a while.

Yeah, I sure have. I never did pay much attention to them though. I wonder if they're a proof mark or a type of "quality assurance" mark. Some of them almost look cyrillic like in the Russian alphabet.
