BSA Red Dotted my Plinker!

OK just to keep up with that show off Carguy :P
I got me a no gunsmith mount for the m44 i redid because of the bad fore arm wood.(by the way I clean and re clean every weapon so to my surprise there was about 3 pounds ::) of cosmolin under the leaf sight spring.

Pretty sweet. I just ordered a no drill mount for my 38 - time to pick out some glass and finish this re-finish. What to get... :o

Anj: I don't think there will be much left of any golfball you hit with that 7.62 round!! Real easy to reacquire your target with that Red Dot isn't it?! :)

Dick: That is a sweet 38! I really want to pick one up to add to my "multiples of the same caliber" compulsion. I prefer that over the 44 (no bayonet) but I've heard the 44's are more accurate, any thought? You might try the same Red Dot that Anjdrifter and I have...cheap ($25 at Wally World) and like I said great for target reacquisition. Although I'm referencing it from a 22 pistol...I can't imagine anything easy with a short 38 or 44!! :(

It depends solely on the rifle. The most accurate of the bunch would be the 91/30, after that, they all are going to be individuals. I can hit very small things from respectable distances with this 38's iron sights. 8-)
