Why would you need to set people straight?
Why do you care what people think about your firearm of choice?
Why is it so important to have respect for your firearm of choice?
Why is it so important to be "right" on an internet forum?
etc.. etc... etc..

Thats a lot of Why's there Mongo.
Why do all of the TV reality series have confrontations? It makes good TV!
How boring it would be if there wasn't a little fussing going on from time to time.
I always reserve my judgement as to whether a fella has any sense until he gives his oppinion on something. Then its obvious.

It is simple, mongo. I prefer website forums I participate in to be reservoirs of fact, rather than cesspools of mis-information.
I couldn't care less what people think about my firearm of choice, nor am I seeking that others respect my choice. I care that others are able to find out the truth when they search for it, just as I would like to when I search for it.
I try to live my life by the golden rule "do unto others as you would have done to you"--this is an extension of that rule.
If one or two others hadn't taken the time to express the truth about the P64 amongst the pile of trash spread about it, I never would have spent my hard earned dollars to see for myself.

Hello Guys,
Man, I have been busy today and not much of a chance to check out the Makarov Forum, but I finally took a minute to see what was going on. So far today, there have been no posting on that particular thread we have been discussing. I guess we will wait to see who brings up this question again on the Mak Forum, LOL!

Food for thought: I am becoming weary of -
brow-beating other gunboards on the virtues of the P-64 - aren't we having enough fun interacting on our forum?
seeing whom can post the most messages on our forum in the shortest period of time, especially if they disrupt a logical and cogent train of thought in a thread;
I am looking forward to:
a range report after installing a 13# mail spring;
posts giving shooting scores in Bartos' challenge - the Polish Drill #1 competition;
a report on nudism and concealed carry (photos appreciated, of course).

If you want pictures from me on the CCW, it would be nothing but ugly. And where would you conceal the pistol?

Hey, maybe we can get Victoria's Secret to model some concealed holsters?

I read the thread. I look upon it as entertainment. Too many silly or ignorant comments to take any of it seriously.

again.. I hate glocks, I hate most shitty 1911 comp guns.. I hate a lot of guns.. I don't go onto other forums dedicated to certain guns and tell them about other guns..
Instant flamefest.
