Good source grip screw nuts
Good source grip screw nuts
Hello fellow members. I wanted to give everyone a heads up. I found another good for grip screw nuts. I know that it's already been posted that grip screw nuts can be had at Home Depot or Lowes and that they are m3 with a pitch of .50. We'll I've found another good source for them. Hobby stores ( anyplace that sells parts for RC. Cars or planes). You can find typically find them in eather in nickel, stainless, or black. And regular or locking. I choose to get the locking. The only problem I had with the lock nuts, is that they are thicker than the factory nuts. I solved this problem by removing the screw and re-inserting it so that head of the screw is on the grip were the nut would normally go. This allowed you put the lock- nut into the recess in the grip that normally excepts the screw head. I know that it might not be the perfect solution but it is a solution that works quite well. I hope this info helps someone.
