What would you carry?
What would you carry?
If you worked or owned a retail gunstore and had to open carry a handgun while working, what would you carry?
Re: What would you carry?
Charter arms Bulldog 44 special snubby, it's light weight and built for short range with impact power.
The Kaboom will be pretty intimidating too.

It would depend on 1) What the LGS policy is 2) What my mood is [but my tweaked CZ-52 would probably get a lot of duty].

Re: What would you carry?
S&W 340PD, .357 powerfull, dead on accurate out to fifty feet and can be fired from a pocket when necessary. The revolver weighs only a little over 14oz's when fully loaded and they don't get up when hit center mass. It is not a pistol or for the unitiated, but in the hands of a seasond revolver shooter it will shoot as well as or better than almost any semi-auto on the market today. Add a crimson trace laser sight and there is no hope for an unsuspecting bad guy. If you'r recoil sensative use .38sp.+P, or +P+ ammo, the results will be similar.

Compact 1911 .45, SIG P-220 .45, Daewoo P-51 9mm, basically anything I am competant with and can reliably land rounds with under some level of pressure.

A rubberband gun. You can hurt someone with real guns. Probably my 1911 or Beretta 92. However, the P-64 would be a smaller choice but if it's OC, then a larger caliber would probably be best.

Hmmm... .45ACP seems to a popular choice here!
