Did they ever produce a factory chrome finish.

I recently purchased my first (probably not the last) P-64 and it has a very nice chrome finish. I didn't know if they were ever produced like this or if somebody had it done. Any info would be appreciated.

The P64 wasn't finished in chrome from Poland; yours was done here after the gun was imported. Norm has a chromed 64 and it's quite the looker.

It didn't have grips so I have some coming and as soon as they arrive I'll post some pics... I was able to pick it up for 100 dollars plus the grips and can't wait to shoot it.

Dude, if you picked up a chrome finished fully functional P64 for $100.00 you did just just fine, grips or not; I want you on my negonationing team the next time our contract come up for renewall!

Bullfrog80, a nice set of factory grips will turn you P64 into a thing of joy and beauty to be enjoyed by every one who sees it, I'm jelous.

Thanks everyone... I'm excited about getting it. My brother has a P64 and I love it. My new springs have already arrived, factory grips should be here tomorrow and zee grips in a few weeks, can't wait to hit the range this weekend.

Made it to the range and I love it!!! Such tight groups for such a small pistol and plinging the plate at 50 yards most of the time... I decided the recoil wasn't too bad and stuck with the factory recoil spring, but I did change out the mainspring to an 18# and am happy I did....
