Tin of Polish makarov 9x18 ammo

Post by tankdriver »

Has anyone ever seen one for sale?

I have a tin of 5.56x39 Polish ammo, and a Tin of Polish 7.62X25 TT33 ammo.

I'd like a tin for the P64, but never seen one for sale.

Thanks

I haven't EVER seen a tin of any type of military 9x18, polish or otherwise, ever come to think of it. The stuff would go like hot cakes though.

Yeah Century Arms has the 1,260 rd 7.62 X 25 mm tokarov ammo in cases. I'd like a case of 5.45 X 39 Polish ball. All they have now is the corrosive 1980s mfg Ukraine rounds. 8-)

Sarge, I was just refering to 9x18. Yes I've purchased a couple of tins of 7.62x25 and 7.62x39. Just not the 9x18. Maybe on Gun Broker?? I'm going to check now.

last year Sportsman's Guide had tins of 1220 rds of Russian Barnaul, it went real quick. Otherwise, tins of any 9x18 seem hard to come by

Sorry I missed that. I've been building stocks of all kinds of ammo. That's where I got most of my Silver Bear at SPG.

RR,
Sorry b'out that. When I used to deal with Century when they brought in all the East German Malarovs they had tons of 9 X 18 ammo. I'd buy 2-3 cases at a time, as all the guys had Makarov pistols. Now it is lucky that you can find 4-5 boxes from them. :(

I'm a collector and would like to have a tin of Polish ammo to go with each Polish weapon I have. I have the Polish TT33 and a Polish tin, and I have a Polish Tantal and a Polish tin of ammo to go with it. I still need a tin of Polish 7.562 X 39 for my Polish AK47 Underfolder, and a tin for my P64. Finally need a Tin of 7.62 X 54 for my Polish 44 carbine. I just found a Box of Polish 22 ammo for my Polish WZ48 22 trainer.

If anybody see's any of either please let me know.

Widener's has 1440 round spam cans of 9X18 on their website. Bernaul brand, not sure where that's from. Looks like they're currently out of stock. www.wideners.com

Barnaul is mfg in Russia. Barnaul produces ammo under the Barnaul, Monarch, and RAM brands. The RAM stands for Russian Ammunition Manufacturing. The Russian manufactures are:

Vympel Enterprise profile. = Golden Tiger
The Tula Cartridge Works = Wolf Klimovsk
Barnaul = Barnaul-RAM-Monarch
Ulyanovsk =Ulyanovsk-Sapsan This website is in Russian but the ammo specifications are given in a chart with metric units of measurement used.

Hope that this helps clear up some issues. 8-) Sgt P.
