Someone traded in a "MINT' Bettera 22 short PB 950 with gold engraving, trigger, hammer ect. at the Indoor range today. Its made in Italy & single action. Wood grips with PB on one side & the logo on the other. I know its only 22 short, but for 180.00, I could not past it up. I pick it up tuesday, hope I did OK. ???

You'll love it! You are now part of the Berretta Bug Owners Society! Anjdrifter, Papabear and I all own the 25 cal 950 and I know Anjdrifter has at least 1 other Beretta 25 and many more bugs! That price is very good, there is one locally black, with blakc plastic grips (pretty sure it was made in Italy) listing for $269. It seems the 22cal's are more expensive than the 25cal.
Can't wait to see a picture! Congratulations!!

I have the Beretta 950BS in .25 auto and I love it. I picked it up on GB for $150.00 about a year ago and it is mint. I used to have the same gun in .22 short, but I sold it.

That is one awesome looking pistol.
I really enjoy .22 shorts. My father (who passed away this January) left me his Astra Cub .22 short. Only gun he owned for a very long time. Still in mint condition. That gun was used to chase off some paint huffers looking to steal some paint from a hardware store in the 1960s. It's that one gun I will never part with, plus its the only gun I've ever seen with no failures to feed.

I have a special place in my collection for the mouse guns.
The 950BS in .25 is a sweet little gun. Mine is mint.
I have seen the prices rising like crazy on these lately, and am starting to wonder why. Sure, it's little and easy to carry, but the ones I have seen at shows, on auction, and at the local fun stores are beat up from being carried and look like crap.
I posted earlier on this post and as I stated I only paid $150.00 plus shipping and transfer for it, and it is as-new. I mean, it looks like less than 50 rounds have been through it, and 20 of them are mine.
On the other side of the mouse hole I brought back to life a Sterling Arms .22lr that a local pizza delivery man traded me for some repair work to his computer. We transfered properly, and then I tore it apart. Wow, this thing was carried a lot and shot very little. DIRTY!
It turned out very nice, with the exception of a busted grip. I have looked all over for some decent replacement grips, but no dice. Just white crappy looking busted up ones on the usual websites
Anybody have some Saturday Night Problem grips they have no use for???
This one has a permanent home in the tackle box. I fish a lot, so it gets cleaned as often as the reels get oiled!

I can relate I have a chipped baby browning grip that I finally replaced. . and then used a an expoxy experiment to repair the chip.. then painted . hey they were history any way. I took the replacement off and made a set with some scrap wood stained and use them. this is a tool box mouse so it didnt matter . so maybe try and make a set.

I sold a Sterling 22LR in stainless a couple of years ago...never liked that gun. Got it cheap and it just didn't work for me, very pickey about ammo. I sold it and a Raven 25 to help finance my Bulgarian Makarov. I definitely got the better part of that deal!!!
