I got them from Dennis and they are Padauk on the BR-61 and on the PA-63 they are Zebrawood

Wow Norm another beautiful pair of guns!

I love that BR-61...what year was that made? Need to figure out how long before I can buy one on my C&R... :o

Norm,

Does the BR-61 feel and shoot more like a P-64 or PA-63?

Norm, I haven't fired my chromed P-64 yet, but I'm curious if the thickness of the plating has any effect on reliability. Have you noticed any?

its just slicker

hard chrome plating is not as thick as nickel plating
