I bought two magazines from SOG a couple monthes ago, and I noticed one has a different follower. While the one that came with the pistol and has the same electropenciled serial number has what looks like a typical follower, one of the replacement mags from SOG has a completely different follower. That follower is like a box that completely surrounds the top of the mag spring, while the rest of the mags have followers that are open on the sides.
Both replacement mags have serial numbers and appear to be original.
Another mag issue.I Have noticed that the electro-pencil on all three mags looks as if it was done twice-Once then blued over, then a second time .

A friend and I ordered 2 guns that came with six mags. NO numbers on any of the mags. We got three of each type of follower. I ended up with two regulars and one with the sides. I haven't had a malfunction yet so I don't know is one is better than the other.
