KARMA TIME: Free Mak Thumbrest Grips

This is done on some of the other boards, from time to time; some members offer up "Free" items to members only, and they call it a "Karma". I would like to start this on here for our members, it helps those giving the free item away of lowering their inventory/stash and other members of getting free items that they might want/need.

This is how it works, each member that is interested in winning the item being offered just put your name in the the hat sorta speak by saying put me in or something to that effect. Then after a certain time period determined by the one giving the item away, they draw a name for a winner. In my case, I will have my wife draw a name, and then I will announce the winner. The winner in turn will provide a mailing address and it will be mailed at "no cost" to the winner.

Feel free to ask questions if you don't understand.

Simple enough....ok...here is the first item up for a "Free Karma"

A Makarov thumbrest grip, screw not included.

Drawing will be Sunday 15 July, 2007 @ 6:00 pm CDT

Great idea, I have several items that I have no personal use for and others may need. Never thought about giving them away at the forum, I'll be in touch.

papabear, I certainly appreciate the sentiment, but I have a multitude of old Makarov grips in shoe boxes that I haven't even seen for years. That's the single only reason for not responding. Please don't put me on the list! ... I'm only saying thanks for the offer.

I totally understand!!! One reason I am doing this, I usually take a open wooden ammo box to each show and let people rummage through it and try to sell some of my many extra's that I have had for quite some time and can't remember where they came from, I'm trying to do one box at a time....... ;D but its not going fast enough, so I decided to do what some on other boards do and start giving em away on this board which is my "Home" board, but as you know I am on several others as well. I appreciate what everyone has done for me on this board and just want to give back what was given so freely to me. I will probably do this often for a while, but encourage others that are willing to do the same, I realize it cost a couple $ to ship these items, but the fun and enjoyment I get from doing it makes it all worth while
