Does AIM only sell to dealers? Or do they do transfers through a local FFL if you buy one from them?

cichlid,
After the obama election Aim closed the walk in counter.
This past summer they reopened the walk in counter on a limited basis. As explained to me by Aim, the walk in counter is open Wednesdays for ammo and accessory sales. The walk in counter is open Thursdays for firearm sales. Both days require advance notice so your order will be waiting for you. Their charge for non FFL firearms transfers was $15.
Give them a call. They should be able to fix you up.

That is where I am thinking in purchasing the P-64 ... I just e-mailed them a copy of my FFL`s license so they can ship out the gun to him . I have bought ammo from them before without any problems .

The shipping is priced right. $9.95 is about as cheap as it gets. Other than free, and we all know nothing is really free.

I have my C&R on file but unfortunately the Bulgarian mak is not C&R elligible. I may have to get my local guy to FAX his FFL. They are out of CZ-82 at the moment as well.

My C&R is on file with Classic. I dealt with Ben for a few years before he sold the company. I may get more from them or from SOG but my next buy is likely a couple more Tokarevs as I have more than a few CZ-82 pistols. The Tokarevs and CZ-82s are the best C&R buy right now in my book. Would be nice if Bugly Maks and P-64 were C&R tho.

It is easy to do and for $30 for three years you save enough to make up the cost of the C&R. The ATF can be slow at times tho.
