On to the live fire excercise. Yesterday I took the gun out and put 100 rounds downrange and I cannot give Russ enough credit. These grips spread the recoil impulse out accross your palm enough that it seems reduced. Also the construction of the grips, being somewhat flexible may help by eating up some of the impulse. 100 rounds and my hand was no where near as sore as it would have been with stock grips. And there was no detectable shifting of the grips during fire.
In conclusion, the grips fit very well and for something that is so easy to fit to a gun with the recoil impulse that this one does it is amazing it neither shifts under recoil but it also helps lessen the hammering your hand takes and the grip just plain looks good. What more could be asked for. I had a friend with me who has shot my P-64 before this and had commented on the fact that the gun was not only very easy to conceal, seemed very well made but let you know you were shooting a real live gun

Russ sir-, these grips are a bases loaded, bottom of the 9th inning, game 7 of the World Series home run.
To anyone reading this, if you have a P-64 you need these grips. Attached are pics of my carry rig showing the grips clear of the leather.
